IN THE BEGINNING

Fourteen months ago, I received a link to a webinar on starting a Podcast.

I thought it had been sent to me to pass onward to someone else and said so to the sender, whom I should say I had not spoken more than two paragraphs in the entirety of our acquaintance at that time.

Long story short, she saw something in me and felt I had something to say, it’s been an interesting journey so far and I still can’t believe it’s been a year.

I’ve learnt and continue to learn more about myself. For example I find that I’m comfortable in interviewing people and I don’t suck at it lol!

It has taken me out of my comfort zone, I’ve learnt more about tech in my older age than ever, I’m fascinated about the possibilities that exist in the internet of things.

It has reinforced the thought that when you open yourself to new ideas, new horizons, new thinking, you begin to suddenly see doors of opportunities that were there all along but you were boxed in.

So here’s to many more years of growth!
