I’ve been called out on the church “outfit” so let me say where I stand.
What is right is right and wrong is wrong.
Everything is NOT appropriate, matter what is in fashion.
I’m not being holier than thou, I will admit I have worn outfits to church that on giving it some thoughts later, I wouldn’t have done had I been “back home”, (I’m an immigrant) and I stopped.
Church wear should be decent. Church is not about sexy.
This is not Body Shaming.
Not all styles are ideal for all body shapes and sizes.
Undesirables things have crept into society, that have become norm even though most of us still see them as undesirable.
Bikini, 👙, lingerie, nudity belong on the beach or home, and yet…
Should I at my age, with my drooping bits stuff my body into hot pants? In public?
We KNOW what is right and what is wrong, why are we not doing it?
ADULT WOMEN at least should lead by example, not be part of problem.
What I see is we want the worldly things so much, we think if we at least attend church…that will somehow fulfill our feeling of righteousness ?
Abeg body-con dresses, don’t belong in church, neither does see-through dresses, being obviously braless, bra straps … I could go on but you know and I know you know!
